Horta se fue el domingo sin perder un solo juego, poniendo un 8-0 a través de una ronda de pareos suizos con tres victorias más en la siguiente ronda de eliminatorias seguido de una ronda libre en la de comodines. Horta tuvo que jugar un “mirror match”, juego en los cuartos de final contra Masahide Moriyama , después venció a as que tenía un Rakdos Arcanist de Lurrus en las semifinales para disputar la final contra Bolun Zhangy su Orzhov Auras de Lurrus. La última ronda fue la definitiva, con Horta ganando tres juegos, y con ellos la invitación al Kaldheim Championship y $1500 USD.

Sultai Midrange juego no fue solamente el mazo más jugado entre las 219 personas del torneo con 46 copias, fue el más presente en el Top 12, siendo la mitad de los mazos en las eliminatorias. Basados en Uro, Titan of Nature, el mazo basado en ira de buenas cosas se unió al Four-Color Midrange como el tercero con más copias en el evento con 28, y solo uno lo logró a Top 12.

Goblins fue el número 2 de la lista con 34 y no llego a Top. Mazos de sacrificio Rakdos y Jund tuvieron 13 y 20 copias, respectivamente. El único otro mazo con números de dos dígitos fue un Azorius Control con 13. Si juntas todos los mazos que usaban Paradox Engine, eran 12, 8 Simic, 2 Sultai y dos Temur, todos utilizando Jegantha, the Wellspring como compañero. Tooru horie lo logró al Top 8 con un Sultai Paradox Engine, la mejor final para el arquetipo.
