Como muchos saben y otros no tanto, me gusta jugar mazos un tanto “Budget” para incentivar a la gente a jugar el formato. Este formato fue el que jugué en la Liga Legacy Chile 20, un mazo relativamente barato (lo más caro son los Force of Will y el Null Rod). Sorprendentemente pasé a la segunda fase, pero me eliminó el mazo de José de la Cruz, Kavu Falso. Tiene problemas contra mazos de criaturas (D&T, Humanos, etc.) y le gana fácil a cualquier mazo rojo (Big Red, Burn, Stompy XX, etc.)

Una carta particularmente interesante es el Ethereal Forager, puede bajar en turno 3 (no importa lo que le exilies), es difícil de matar y si te regresa 2 cartas ya hizo demasiado. Combinar Curious Obsession con el True-Name Nemesis prácticamente te da la victoria o le da un giro total al juego (a menos que estés defendiendo) y puede acabar el juego muy rápido Misdirection (o Divert) y Brazen Borrower son cartas muy poco valorada, pues te dan mas opciones de control, de responder e incluso sorprenden demasiado al oponente. No hay mejor drop de 1 que el Delver, el Pteramander simplemente no sirve, muy lento, prefería guardarlo para los Force of Will y solo no es buena opción (cuando mi oponente prácticamente ya ganaba o tenia todo para matarlo) era cuando vale la pena jugarlo vs Dinopox: L 1 – 2 vs Burn: W 2 – 0 vs Dredge: W 2 – 1 vs Rainbow Depths: W 2 – 0 vs Temur Delver (no hubo mucho juego) vs Kavu Falso: L 0 – 2. Al final hice unas modificaciones y actualizaciones para hacerlo un poco más “Budget” todavía, los Force of Will no son reemplazables pero si puedes meter 3-4 Force of Negation y otro Misdirection y Null Rod por otra Pithing Needle.
