Mono-Red Dragons ganó con Town-razer Tyrant y Fearsome Whelp en el mazo principal y Brittle Blast y Conductive Current en el sideboard.

Los mazos de dragones formaban trece de los 43 jugadores y tres del Top 8 gracias a las nuevas herramientas de Alchemy: Innistrad. Cloudman061 derrotó a Morrie Cunningham en Boros Dragons en la final, mientras que Avocategory terminó en tercer lugar con Esper Clerics.

También se benefició de que el Alrund’s Epiphany se nerfeara, lo que permitió que los mazos de rango medio volvieran al metajuego.
