Como era de esperar, el Top 8 estaba repleto de caras conocidas. Hablando de caras conocidas, el Top 8 del Estándar presentó cinco copias de Izzet Epiphany, dos versiones de Dimir Control y una única copia de Grixis Control. Corey Baumeister ingresó al Top 8 en la posición # 1, después de haber pasado 12-1-1 a través del suizo.
